  • Description

Genuine OEM replacement throttle for the latest Revvi 18" and Revvi 20" electric bikes with the frame-mounted speed switch and red on/off button.

This is the current throttle used on newer Revvi 18" and 20" models that feature the speed switch built into the frame and a red on/off button on the throttle assembly. Designed as a direct OEM replacement, it restores smooth throttle response and reliable acceleration.

Important: This throttle is only compatible with Revvi bikes that use the frame-mounted speed switch and red on/off button throttle. If your bike uses the alternative black button throttle, this part will not fit. You will require this version instead.

    Key Features

    • Genuine OEM Revvi replacement part
    • Current-style throttle for selected newer Revvi 18" and 20" bikes
    • For bikes with the speed switch built into the frame
    • Red on/off button throttle design
    • Smooth and responsive throttle operation
    • Direct replacement for compatible models

    Compatibility

    This throttle is compatible with:

    • Selected Revvi 18" electric bikes
    • Selected Revvi 20" electric bikes
    • Bikes fitted with a frame-mounted speed switch and red on/off button throttle

Please compare your existing throttle and connector carefully before ordering.

If you are unsure, please send photos of your existing throttle and connector via our Contact Page and we will help confirm compatibility before you order.

    Common Fault Symptoms

A replacement throttle may be required if your bike experiences:

    • No throttle response
    • Bike powers on but will not move
    • Intermittent acceleration
    • Jerky or inconsistent throttle operation
    • Damaged throttle housing after a crash or fall
    • Broken or damaged throttle cable/connector

Throttle faults are one of the most common causes of rideability issues on electric bikes and are often straightforward to diagnose and replace.

    Before Ordering

Revvi have used different throttle styles across different model years, so it is important to match your existing part before ordering.

    • Check whether your bike has the speed switch built into the frame
    • Check whether your throttle has a red or black on/off button
    • Compare the connector against your existing throttle
    • If unsure, send us photos before ordering

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the newest Revvi 18/20 throttle?

Yes, this is the current-style throttle for selected newer Revvi 18" and 20" bikes that use the frame-mounted speed switch and red on/off button throttle.

Will this fit every Revvi 18" and 20" bike?

No. Revvi have used different throttle setups, so this part only fits bikes with the correct frame-mounted speed switch and red on/off button throttle setup.

What if my throttle has a black on/off button?

If your bike has the black button throttle, this is not the correct part. You will need the alternative version linked above.

    Can I fit this myself?

Most throttle replacements are straightforward, but we recommend basic mechanical confidence and checking the connector carefully before fitting.

Need help choosing the correct throttle?
Send us clear photos of your current throttle and connector before ordering and we will help confirm which version you need.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm
5 to 6Ages 5 to 637cm55cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 739cm57cm
YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
