Stomp 212 MX 20th Anniversary – Quick Overview

Best for: experienced riders looking for a larger, powerful manual pit bike.

    Engine: 212cc oil-cooled four-stroke with a 28mm PE28 carburettor.

Gearbox: five-speed manual with a wet, six-disc clutch.

Wheels: 17 inch front / 14 inch rear alloy rims.

    Seat height: 855mm.

Why riders choose it: 212cc performance, electric and kick starting, linkage rear suspension and practical off-road protection details.

The limited-edition Stomp 212 MX 20th Anniversary is a serious step up for riders who want more engine performance and a larger 17/14 pit bike setup. Its 212cc oil-cooled four-stroke engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, wet clutch and 28mm PE28 carburettor.

The chassis combines a triangular seamless beam cradle frame with 770mm upside-down forks and a nitrogen-filled rear shock with adjustable preload and performance linkage. Alloy rims, a rear rim lock and front and rear disc brakes complete the main riding setup.

Stomp has also fitted disc guards, a brake snake, folding levers and an enclosed air filter housing. Electric and kick starting give you two ways to start the bike, while the 855mm seat height provides a larger riding position than compact beginner pit bikes.

My Take as a British MX Rider

The first things I would consider with the 212 MX are its size and the rider’s experience. An 855mm seat height, 81kg dry weight and manual five-speed gearbox make this a substantial bike to manage.

For a confident rider who wants a larger 17/14 Stomp with a 212cc engine, the specification makes a strong case. I would steer a new rider towards a smaller, less powerful pit bike first.

Why Choose the Stomp 212 MX?

    212cc Four-Stroke Engine

    An oil-cooled 212cc engine with a 28mm PE28 carburettor for riders seeking a higher-performance pit bike.

    Five-Speed Manual Gearbox

Full manual clutch and gear control for riders comfortable with a more involved riding experience.

    Electric & Kick Start

Two starting methods, giving riders the convenience of electric start with kick start also available.

    17/14 Alloy Wheels

A 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheel setup with alloy rims and a rear rim lock.

    Linkage Rear Suspension

A nitrogen-filled rear shock with adjustable preload and performance linkage, paired with 770mm USD forks.

    Off-Road Protection Details

Disc guards, a brake snake, folding levers and an enclosed air filter housing are among the practical details fitted to the 20th Anniversary 212 MX.

Is the Stomp 212 MX Right for You?

    Choose the 212 MX If...

    • You already have experience riding manual off-road bikes
    • You want a larger 17/14 wheel setup
    • You are comfortable with an 855mm seat height
    • You want a 212cc four-stroke with electric and kick starting
    • You want a linkage-equipped Stomp pit bike

    Consider a Smaller Bike If...

    • This will be your first petrol pit bike
    • You are still learning clutch and gear control
    • The 855mm seat height is too tall
    • You would prefer a lighter, more manageable machine

Rider fit matters more than age alone. Check that the rider can manage the bike’s height and weight and confidently operate its manual clutch, brakes and controls.

    Engine, Gearbox & Chassis

The Stomp 212 MX uses a 212cc, oil-cooled four-stroke engine with SOHC two-valve construction and a 28mm PE28 carburettor. Power is delivered through a wet six-disc clutch, five-speed manual transmission and 428 chain final drive.

Its triangular seamless beam cradle frame is matched with a 470mm steel swingarm. Up front are 770mm USD forks; at the rear is a 280mm nitrogen-filled shock with adjustable preload and performance linkage.

The 17/14 wheel setup, 290mm ground clearance and 1220mm wheelbase give the bike a larger stance than compact beginner pit bikes. A twin-piston front brake and single-piston rear brake complete the setup.

  • Delivery & Returns

Delivery options and estimated timescales are shown at checkout based on your location and the delivery methods available to you. All orders are carefully packaged to ensure your bike arrives in perfect condition.

Stomp pit bikes are covered by a parts-only warranty. This means that in the event of a valid warranty claim, a replacement part will be supplied — labour, fitting costs and any associated expenses are not covered.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal use. It does not cover:

    • Fair wear and tear
    • Damage caused by incorrect assembly or setup
    • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, racing, or modification
    • Consumable items including tyres, brake pads, chains, sprockets, filters and fluids
    • Damage caused by lack of maintenance or incorrect maintenance
    • Cosmetic damage including plastics, graphics and bodywork
    • Damage caused by an accident or impact

Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and, where required, photographic evidence of the fault. We reserve the right to request that parts are returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.

    Returns

Unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original, unassembled condition and original packaging. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A refund or exchange will be issued once the item has been received and inspected.

    Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos of the issue. We will assess the claim and respond with the appropriate resolution — which under the parts-only warranty will typically be a replacement part dispatched to you.

    Please Note
Once a pit bike has been assembled, fuelled, or ridden it cannot be returned as an unwanted item. If you are unsure whether a bike is right for you before purchasing, please get in touch and we'll help you make the right choice.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength

YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
