Revvi 18" Electric Bike – Quick Overview

    Recommended age: approximately 8–11 years.

Best for: confident riders moving beyond smaller 16-inch electric bikes.

Rider fit: typically suited to riders around 130–155cm, with an adjustable 67–74cm seat height.

Motor: 36V 500W brushless hub motor.

    Speed settings: 9.5mph, 13.5mph and 20mph.

Our view: the Revvi range’s strong all-round step-up bike, combining a bigger chassis with full suspension and hydraulic braking.

The Revvi 18 is designed for older or taller children who are ready for a more substantial electric bike. Its 18-inch wheels, adjustable seat, 500W motor and 20mph top setting provide more room and stability than the smaller Revvi 16 models.

Full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes make it capable over rougher ground, while three speed settings allow performance to be introduced gradually according to the rider’s ability.

My Take as a British MX Rider

The Revvi 18 feels more like a proper electric motorbike than the smaller balance-bike models. The larger chassis, suspension and hydraulic brakes are meaningful upgrades for riders who are becoming faster and more confident.

For most riders stepping up from a 16-inch bike, the Revvi 18 is the best all-round size-and-performance choice.

Get More Value with a Revvi 18 Bundle

For a rider moving onto a faster bike, the bundle options are well worth checking before ordering. Depending on availability, they can combine the Revvi 18 with protective riding gear or additional battery capacity for longer sessions.

Choose a gear bundle if the rider still needs the main protective equipment. Choose an extended ride-time option if fewer charging breaks matter.

    Why Choose the Revvi 18?

    500W Power

The 36V brushless motor provides strong performance for confident step-up riders.

    Bigger 18-Inch Platform

More physical room and stability for riders who have outgrown smaller Revvi models.

    Full Suspension

An 80mm front fork and air rear shock improve comfort and control on uneven terrain.

    Hydraulic Brakes

Hydraulic discs with adjustable-reach levers provide consistent stopping performance.

Is the Revvi 18 Right for Your Rider?

The recommended age is approximately 8–11 years. Age alone does not confirm fit: rider height, inside leg, reach, confidence and experience should all be considered.

    Choose the Revvi 18 If...

    • Your rider is approximately 8–11 years old
    • They have outgrown the 16-inch Revvi models
    • You want a stable all-round bike with full suspension
    • A 20mph top setting suits their ability

Consider the Amped A18 Comp If...

    • You want a premium 18-inch performance bike
    • The rider needs more power and higher-spec components
    • They regularly ride tracks, fields or rough terrain
    • Performance matters more than value

    Consider the Revvi 20 If...

    • Your rider is taller or needs more room
    • You want a larger Revvi platform
    • Physical size is the priority rather than a premium upgrade
    • The Revvi 18 riding position appears cramped

    Speed and Battery Performance

    Mode Speed Approx. Ride Time
    Slow 9.5mph 80 minutes
    Medium 13.5mph 45 minutes
    Fast 20mph 25 minutes

The removable 36V 5Ah battery takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes to charge. Speed and ride time vary with rider weight, terrain, temperature and conditions. Do not use the bike in wet conditions.

    Revvi 18 FAQs

What age is the Revvi 18 for?

The recommended age is approximately 8–11 years, subject to rider size, confidence and ability.

    Should I choose the 18 or 20?

Choose the 20 when the rider needs a larger physical platform; choose the 18 when its adjustable 67–74cm seat height provides the better fit.

    Why choose a bundle?

Bundles can provide better value when the rider also needs protective gear or additional ride-time options.

Can it be used in wet conditions?

No. The supplied guidance states that the Revvi 18 is not suitable for wet conditions.

    Our Verdict

The Revvi 18 is a strong all-round step-up bike, offering a larger platform, full suspension and hydraulic brakes without moving straight to the premium Amped A18 Comp.

For a confident rider aged approximately 8–11, check the Revvi 18 bundles before buying the bike alone.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm
5 to 6Ages 5 to 637cm55cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 739cm57cm
YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
