Best for first-time quad riders aged 3–7

800W electric motor — quiet and easy to control

3 speed settings with parental control

Forward and reverse — proper quad functionality

A safe, simple and confidence-building first quad — with real features, not toy-level spec.

    Why choose the EBOX ACDC?

The EBOX ACDC is designed as a proper first electric quad for young riders, combining simple controls with genuine quad bike features.

With parental speed control, reverse gear and a stable chassis, it delivers a safe and enjoyable introduction to off-road riding.

If you are comparing beginner electric quads, you may also want to read our EBOX ACDC Electric Quad UK guide, browse our Best Kids Electric Quad Bikes UK guide, or compare the ACDC against the Kayo FOX-E EA70.

800W Electric Motor — Quiet and Easy to Ride

The ACDC is powered by a 36V 800W electric motor, delivering smooth and predictable performance.

    • Motor — 800W electric
    • Drive — Automatic
    • No noise — No engine noise or fumes

This makes it ideal for younger riders and family-friendly environments.

3 Speed Settings — Full Parental Control

Parents can control how fast the quad goes using a built-in limiter.

    • Low — 5 mph
    • Mid — 10 mph
    • High — 16 mph

This allows riders to progress safely as their confidence improves.

Forward and Reverse — Easy to Use

The ACDC includes forward, neutral and reverse gears — a key feature often missing from basic entry-level quads.

    • Gears — Forward / Neutral / Reverse
    • Benefit — Easier manoeuvring and control

Reverse makes it much easier for younger riders to manage tight spaces and recover from mistakes.

    Stable and Confidence Inspiring

The ACDC is built with a low, stable chassis to help young riders feel in control.

    • Seat Height — 45cm
    • Wheelbase — 70cm
    • Weight — 45kg

This keeps the quad planted and manageable for beginners.

    Braking and Safety

The braking setup is simple but effective for this category.

    • Front Brakes — Twin mechanical disc
    • Rear Brake — Single mechanical disc

This provides consistent stopping power at all speed settings.

    Battery and Range

The 36V battery setup delivers plenty of riding time for younger riders.

    • Battery — 36V lead acid
    • Range — Up to 24 miles
    • Charge Time — 5–6 hours

More than enough for typical play sessions and off-road use.

Who Is the EBOX ACDC For?

The ACDC is ideal for young riders aged 3–7 looking for their first quad bike.

Perfect first step before moving into larger electric or petrol quads.

It is designed to build confidence safely while still delivering a genuine riding experience.

For riders wanting more performance later on, compare the ACDC against the Kayo FOX-E EA70, step up to the Kayo E-Bull 1000W, or view our Best Starter Quad Bikes For Kids guide.

Not suitable for public roads. Always supervise young riders and use appropriate safety gear.

    How Does The ACDC Compare?

The EBOX ACDC is the easiest starting point in our electric quad range. It sits below the Kayo FOX-E EA70, which is a more serious electric learning quad, and the Kayo E-Bull 1000W, which is a larger electric progression quad for riders aged around 6–12+.

If you are comparing electric and petrol beginner quads, our Kayo FOX-E EA70 vs Kayo FOX AY70-2 comparison is also worth reading.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm
5 to 6Ages 5 to 637cm55cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 739cm57cm
YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
